The Blended Flexi CELTA allows you to fit your teacher training course in around existing commitments as you train for an exciting new career. Plus with the Blended Flexi CELTA you also get to complete your Teaching Practice face to face in one of our centres. This can help you build your confidence and prepare you for your new teaching career.
This course can also be completed as a fully Online Flexi CELTA where you study online and complete the Teaching Practice online. There is no difference in the certification on whether you choose to do Blended or online, it's just a different way of completing your Teaching Practice.

The Blended Flexi CELTA course is particularly well-suited for candidates who need the flexibility to fit study around personal commitments, have little or no teaching experience, and would like to learn how to teach English to speakers of other languages with an internationally recognised qualification. It also allows you to complete your teaching practice in a classroom which can help build your confidence.
Course Outcomes
By choosing the Online Flexi CELTA course you will achieve the following objectives:
- Become confident with the grammar and structure (form), meaning in context (function) and the sound system of the English language (phonology)
- Become familiar with teaching methodology for the classroom and online
- Receive practical teaching experience
- Gain language awareness in order to be able to teach English Language
- Receive individual feedback and support as well as group feedback throughout the course
- Form new friendships with students with similar goals from around the world in a collaborative and supportive online environment
- Balance your course with demands of a busy work and home life
Course Components
The course includes:
- Tech orientation sessions to familiarise yourself with the online platforms
- 120 hour course including 30 units of online learning
- 30 hours of online lesson planning, teaching practice, evaluation and feedback
- Teaching practice at one of our UK teaching centres
- 4 written assignments which range from formal language analysis to a study of teaching materials
- Access to community forums and expert feedback from qualified tutors
- 6 hours of live online observation, giving you the opportunity to see experienced teachers in action. These observations are complemented by specific observation tasks

Course Requirements
- Minimum age - 18 years old and over
- Educated to a level suitable for higher education or university (A levels or equivalent)
- Competent in both written and spoken English (C1 minimum)
- Successful completion of an interview and a language awareness test
