In line with this, we are always looking to gain accreditation from industry bodies which help us demonstrate our commitment to educational excellence.
British Council
British Study Centres in York, Manchester and London are accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English as a foreign language. The British Council inspection scheme is widely regarded as the most rigorous and thorough scheme in the world.
To obtain accreditation, schools must comply with the strict regulations laid down by the British Council with respect to management, teacher qualifications, school facilities, health and safety, teaching quality, administration, student services, accommodation, publicity materials and welfare.
Accredited BSC Schools in the UK are inspected regularly by the British Council. At each of our last inspections, BSC schools satisfied the inspectors and met the standards of the inspection scheme. We are listed as accredited schools on the British Council website.
English UK Membership
British Study Centres is an active member of English UK, the national association of English language centres, and we are listed as a member of the English UK website. English UK is the world's leading language teaching association and a guarantee of high quality and good service.
For students, enrolling at an English UK centre ensures that they receive first-rate teaching and get the most of their English language course.
OET Premium Preparation Provider
BSC is an OET Premium Preparation Provider. Premium Preparation Providers are institutions that have achieved benchmark quality in OET teaching and course design. To earn this status, the school must complete a training course that involves OET course design and assessment of in-class teaching. There are only a few UK schools that have achieved this status which reflects the high quality courses we deliver.
