Should I take a TOEFL or TOEIC exam?

Exam results from TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and TOEIC (Test of English for International Communications) are both used to assess non-native English abilities.

Like the Cambridge exam or IELTS, employers and universities can use TOEIC and TOEFL to measure your level of English. Higher education usually focuses on TOEFL and TOEIC is more popular for professional situations.

The TOEFL and TOEIC tests are offered in many countries. However, it is not currently possible to sit the TOEIC test in the UK. To find out more or to book the tests, please visit: www.ets.org.
