Horse riding lessons, led by qualified riding instructors, are available at our Wycliffe College summer camp.

Our General English Plus activities courses are where energetic children and teenagers thrive. With our horse riding option, every day starts with fun, engaging English lessons. Then, three times a week, students have two-hour lessons with professional instructors where they work on riding skills and stable management. What is the English Plus Horse Riding course like?

This summer camp option allows students to learn basic riding skills or improve their existing abilities with qualified instructors.

Wycliffe College is close to exceptional riding schools, where students can build their experience. Students spend the mornings focused on improving their English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, in interactive classes with students of a similar age and ability. Riding sessions take place in the afternoon, before exciting social events in the evenings. It’s the perfect summer camp for children and teenagers learning English!

Student Welfare

It’s important that your child is happy and well looked-after during their stay. We support this with comfortable accommodation, healthy meals and experienced residential supervisors.

Our summer camps are carefully organised to help students make friends and learn comfortably. We follow the NSPCC approved ‘Safer Recruitment’ guidelines and carefully choose our teams so that your child has someone safe, friendly and experienced to look after them during their stay. Read our student welfare page for more information.
